Mmm keep having the game just closing, i then have to rename my bak file to nss its doing every few weeks.

edit now its doing it all the time :cry:

ah, I just saved my game and it closed. Everytime I try to load it it just closes help me!!

Ok, i've tracked down the bug. PHEW!

Basically it will crash when you save or load a game where your player has ZERO energy. (I can't believe i let this one through the net! :x )

Temporary work around. Don't save a game whilst on Zero energy. (Turn off AutoSave if you need to.)

If you can't load a game that is saved. Try renaming the .bak file in the save folder to something like backup.nss. Then load "Backup" from the load menu.

none of them work for me both the backup and nss game is broken.... :cry:

Is the bug in the save game file, or is it in the programme itself, ie do we have to redownload the whole game, then use our saved game file?

This is for people who have downloaded the full installation file already. Just download the zip above and extract the exe over the old version in C:\Program Files\New Star Soccer 3\.

Your saves may not work unfortunately. If not try renaming the bak file then load that. If that fails then i'm afraid you will need to start a new game. Sorry guys, i feel very bad about this. :cry:

ah don't feel too bad. just a good thing it was found on day 1 rather than having someone get 8 seasons into the game!

yes I tried re-loading my save game only for it to say 'corrupted save game' lost all my points. No problem I'll start again :)
