Has anyone considered doing a mod for this, do you think it would work?

I think not, because you can't implement the steering and control aspects etc of a motorcycle by using a mod. I think it's possible to make the motorcycle sprites though if that's any consolation!

What a coincidence. I actually started doing this and had all the sprites for the bikes done, but the controlling mechanism cant be changed and its highly unrealistic. Plus, the hit-test for the walls doesnt work properly.

thing is.... bikes would colide even not colliding, unless you desing bikes as fat (read wide) as cars.

Actually, ive tried messing with the engine.ini file and its possible to edit the collision borders, and ive been able to make a sort of decent control mechanism using the basic variables in engine.ini, but Ive never even seen MotoGP so I have no idea what riders and teams to include.

A MotoGP mod would lack the steering and control stuff though, wouldn't it? If yes, the game would be far too easy with that mod.

No, i can't be really done, it would look weird, you can't propperly simulate a bike in NSGP

I would really like to see a NSGP style motorbike game.

actually... there was! You may still find the game somewhere in abandonware pages maybee! Itīs not quite NSGP... i believe there are still riders like Mamola and Doohan in that game, but ...

p.s. heh... i downloaded game, just to check how it looked game from some 20 years ago! Looooooks incredible ugly, so... there is no chance to play that, but... idea was simmilar! oh... and the size of the game is "whole" 110kb! B)
