NSS3 Still Going Strong!
Back with new update at last! Been super busy lately, what with getting things ready for the World Cup. Things have been stalled slightly but hopefully you'll see a version of NSS3 on Microsoft's World Cup site soon. This will be playable in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. I'll keep you posted.
I've also created an England World Cup Challenge which is playable right in your browser (if it's Internet Explorer!) Click here to play it.
On top of that New Star Soccer has been updated to version 3.14. This features all the new stuff detailed below such as stadiums and screen resolution options, plus lots of enhancements to the gameplay and plenty of bug fixes. Get the latest version here.
So i'm very close to finally putting a lid on NSS3 and looking forward to completing Sensational Soccer. After that it will be time to think about NSS4. I haven't decided what path to take as yet, whether it be re-writing the entire game to have a more "professional" look, perhaps with a 3D match engine, or to just add all the popular requests (such as a management mode) to the existing NSS3/Sensational engine. I also have a burning desire to expand the "New Star" stable and perhaps do a New Star Tennis or New Star Formula 1 game, but that would delay NSS4 considerably and i'm not sure it would go down to well with you lot. ;) Be sure to let me know your thoughts via the forum.
Well, that's the current state of play so I'd better get back to work. Can cram in a couple of hours before Japan take on a slightly out of sorts Brazil team. And let's hope England can march on even without Michael Owen. :)
